Setting Up a Rotating Schedule in MyStudyLife
Does your school follow a rotating schedule? Whether your classes rotate by week or day, MyStudyLife makes it easy to set up a timetable that works for you.
How to Set Up a Rotating Schedule
You can configure your rotation settings when adding or editing an academic year.
Week Rotation (2, 3, or 4-Week Schedules)
If your school follows a weekly rotation (for example, Week A and Week B), follow these steps:
Go to
Settings
→ Schedule Settings
in the app. Select Week Rotation as your schedule type.
Choose how many weeks your schedule rotates between (2, 3, or 4 weeks).
Set the number of days in your academic week.
Customize whether you want weeks to be displayed as numbers (Week 1, Week 2, etc.) or letters (A, B, C, etc.)—whichever works best for you!
Once set, you can add your classes, and MyStudyLife will automatically assign them to the correct weeks.
Day Rotation (Numbered or Lettered Days)
If your school follows a day rotation system (for example, Day 1 to Day 6 instead of Monday-Friday), you can also configure this in MyStudyLife:
Go to
Settings
→ Schedule Settings
. Select Day Rotation as your schedule type.
Choose how many days are in your cycle (for example, a 6-day cycle).
Decide if you want the days to be displayed as numbers (Day 1, Day 2, etc.) or letters (A, B, C, etc.).
Add your classes, assigning them to the correct day numbers/letters.
With day rotation, your schedule will always match your school’s cycle, even if holidays or unexpected breaks occur!
Managing Your Rotation in Older Versions
If you're using an older version of MyStudyLife, you can configure your rotating timetable from the Timetable Settings screen:
Change the mode to Week Rotation or Day Rotation.
Select the number of weeks or days in your schedule.
Save your settings, then start adding your classes.
