If you want to import an external calendar into MyStudyLife, you'll need to find your iCal (ICS) link from your calendar provider. Not all calendar providers or schools allow access to an iCal link, but most do. Follow the steps below to locate and use your iCal link.
The exact steps may vary depending on your calendar provider, but here’s how to find it on common platforms:
Open Google Calendar on a web browser.
On the left sidebar, find the calendar you want to sync under "My calendars" or "Other calendars."
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the calendar name.
Select "Settings and sharing."
Scroll down to the "Integrate calendar" section.
Copy the "Secret address in iCal format."
Note: If the "Secret address in iCal format" is not available, your school or organization may have restricted access.
Open Outlook Web and go to Calendar.
Click the Settings (
) icon and select "View all Outlook settings."
Navigate to Calendar > Shared calendars.
Under "Publish a calendar," select the calendar you want to share.
Choose "Can view all details" and click "Publish."
Copy the iCal link provided.
Open iCloud.com and go to Calendar.
Click the share (
) icon next to the calendar name.
Check "Public Calendar."
Copy the URL that appears.
Tip: If using the Calendar app on a Mac, right-click the calendar, choose "Share Calendar," and enable "Public Calendar" to get the link.

Open the MyStudyLife app.
Go to Settings and select "Calendar Sync."

Note: Syncing is one-way, meaning changes made in your external calendar will update in MyStudyLife, but not the other way around.
